Best ending would be that the devs slowly chip away at dubbing the voicelines with the actual VAs with each patch though.
Shit prolly takes a long time to put in all those lines so its likely that they didn't want to delay the game just becuase of ping voice lines. Still, put the actual VA lines in.

Obviously, I don't condone generative AI, it's garbage, but when its being used CONSENSUALLY, and to help the real people not wish death upon themselves after grueling hours of voicework that barely anyone is ever going to hear (GAME HAS VOICE CHAT FFS), I think it's okay for once.

Like I'm sorry but of course they're gonna use AI to speed things up, why would anyone want to sit there for hours going "Thank you for the [Insert item here]" and "I need [Insert Item]" over 300 times. That doesn't sounds like fun, that sounds like shit JIGSAW would make someone do.
