It's good that he corrected the article. It would have been better to issue a clear correction vs. edit but seems relatively benign. It was good that he debunked the clam that people could prove the shape of an object in space via a motion blurred image regardless of what object in the image...
I found it interesting that the arrival times vary so much between HUXt and ENLIL. Is that normal? If I’m reading it right HUXt says the CME will arrive during daylight and ENLIL after dark (east coast USA).

I guess if the light is both rotating and blinking on and off that might explain it. I haven't sen the lighthouse at night recently but I'll keep an eye out and see if I can figure it out next time I'm near it at night.
Are those crazy rays of light some kind of artifact from the lighthouse and exposure time?
In my weather app, I don’t roll up anything at the daily level. I just show the hourly probabilities for each hour of the day. I think it’s a lot more straightforward personally. Maybe you’d be interested in checking it out?

Basically if each hour of the day has a 50% chance of rain, the chance it will rain some time that day is greater than 50%. Think of it this way, if you toss a coin each hour for 24 hours, there's a good chance you'll eventually get heads...
By the way if you wan to try an actual weather app that's more honest and reliable (although doesn't have radar) you should try my app. It probably would have said there's a probability of rain and likely lightning and left it at that.

You should use RadarScope because it makes it really clear how old the radar images are, the precise spacial resolution etc. It's the only radar app that really works... all other apps radar features are pretty much useless. Which is why I didn't include one in my app.
Does that mean it’s thundering now but not expected to be in the next hour?
