Futuristis-dystooppisessa kehyksessä itkettävä romanssi: ”Code 46” by Michael Winterbottom (2003).
Finland is known for its fair, high-quality education system. But new re-search shows it is increasingly being treated as a marketable product ra-ther than a public good. What does this shift mean for the future of learn-ing?

THE ASSET CLASS, my first book, will be published by @wnbooks.bsky.social on 9 April 2026. It’s a narrative investigation of private equity, a secretive and relentlessly destructive wing of finance that penetrates almost every aspect of our lives - and it’s available to pre-order now!

Persujen tiedepamfletin myötä taas ajankohtainen kirjoitus (vuodelta 2023) uusintana:
#Persut #Tiede #Tutkimus #Tutkimusrahoitus #SuomenAkatemia #Politiikka
Lähiaikoina on tiettävästi odotettavissa törkyä tiedeyhteisöä kohtaan. Ketjusta muutama pikavinkki.
Ilmainen kiva tutkimushankeidea jollekulle: ”Lähtökuoppiinsa jääneen tai persuksillensa pudonneen yliopistouran synnyttämä viha/katkeruus persuuntumisinsentiivinä”.
Loppuuko tämäkin klassikkolauseeseen ”ja he taistelivat yhdessä sodan loppuun asti”? Täytyy myöntää, että kymmenen ikävuoden korvilla korkkareiden homoerotiikka ei varsinaisesti avautunut.
