Caught this at the Knoxville Film Fest - crazy, at times hysterical, completely bizarre, and pretty unnerving!

I am SO checking this out at SXSW. Click thru to see a photo of the dog wearing a wired-up colander, looking like whatever this is, he's going with it. Hysterical!
Don’t know California snakes. This one looked to have red on the belly. Guessing it’ll be loooong someday, too. If it learns not to sun on the trail.
Congrats to the brilliant Daniel Kraus on the release of his new book PARTIALLY DEVOURED!

It’s International Women’s Day! I don’t need to leave the masthead of Fango to celebrate amazing international women! Our co-publisher lives in Ireland! Our Senior Editor is in Germany! Our News Editor is in the UK! I’m certain I’ve hired various Canadians to write for us! Hooray!
The broadside Corpus/Corpse: Three Theories of Language, printed by Mission Creek Festival in 2014. Beautiful!
The @brianevenson.bsky.social shrine is really coming along! I need about 5 more pieces to complete it, and he has a number of uncollected stories to track down, too. I need more room!
The boxed set of The Dark Glinting with Metal, a Mork Borg RPG Module written by Brian Evenson and illustrated by Justin Sirois from SeveredBooks! The set includes coin, signed card, campaign book, and a GM screen. Super cool!
2 broadsides added:
- No Matter Which Way We Turned, a flash fiction piece that distills Horror Itself into 448 words. Stunning. I'd love to commission Charles Burns to illustrate this story. Anyone got his email?
- A cool little folded broadside with an excerpt from Brian's story "Windeye."
The world's on fire, but that's all the more reason to read master of desolation @brianevenson.bsky.social 🔥
This week brought some rare treasures to my Evenson shrine, including his 1997 chapbook Prophets and Brothers (4 stories, pub'd by Tyrant)!
Book cover for Mazywood - a film reel unspooled to a cabin in the woods.

peaceful civil rights marchers in Selma, Alabama, about to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge where they will be attacked by state troopers and local law enforcement
Today marks the 61st anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” which occurred on March 7, 1965, a pivotal moment in the American Civil Rights Movement. During a peaceful march in Selma, AL, demonstrators were brutally attacked by state troopers. This event led to the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
What I've been saying this whole time
Hysterical!
I’m convinced MESSIAH OF EVIL is an early 70s art school reaction to watching their fellow Baby Boomers throw off the free love and revolution of a few years prior and become consumed by the conservatism of the generation that came before. A real “become one of us or we will consume and destroy you”
Thank you, @authordileo.bsky.social! Yes, I have a reader’s guide to @sgj.bsky.social’s THE BUFFALO HUNTER HUNTER that defines some of Good Stab’s less-familiar terms. If you’re starting in on the novel, check it out: open.substack.com/pub/greggree...
@brianimator.bsky.social sorry, should have said, Does it get any better than this? Love these films!
Good heavens, what is this from??
You’re awesome 💪
One of the best horror threequels. High stakes right from the start with an elusive serial killer committing gruesome crimes. Great performances from George C Scott and Brad Dourif. A must watch. #filmsky

Does it get any better? ⭐️
Throwing caution (and retirement funds) to the wind.
Sorry, I meant "stocking up for retirement" 📚 😉
My one redeeming quality 😂
If I spend too much money on books, it’s only because I’m impulsive and materialistic.
