Love that episode! The series had several episodes that were really well done, but the musical episode was the best!

One of many books I read as a child that changed my perspective of the world. I read 'It's Like This, Cat' at age 10 or 11. The story is about a teenage boy who lives in NYC. He brings home a cat that he got from the neighborhood crazy cat lady. Newberry Award winner! #books #bookchallenge

Birth registration helped break through a brick wall in my research. I have found Ann's surname spelled with variations. Marriage was Co Limerick, but it is unknown if Ann was from there or Glasgow, where Edward lived. No records found for Ann in either place.

I recognize it! I didn't remember the Crawfords living on Cliff Street, for some reason I thought it was named something else. I have never been inside though. I do have photos of the front of the house from when mom and Jean were young.

The 1886 baptism of my grandfather, Robert Joseph Riddle, in Quebec. His mother, Maggie Thorburn, signed the register with such flourish.
