An illustrated comic featuring characters from my webcomic, Ashflight. Poppy, a young bat, walks into an office carrying a box. "Here's your delivery for the day, Gramps!" he says. "Oh, goodie!" Gramps, an old bat, replies cheerfully. "Thank you, dear. I've been looking forward to this one for a long time!" Poppy asks: "Ooh, is it for a new machine you're working-" Another young bat, Aster, bursts into the room shouting. "It's here already!? No way" They swoop the box straight out of Poppy's hands before he can react. "YES YES YES YES", Aster chants as Gramps opens up the box. Poppy smiles nervously. "Haha, so what's inside this-" Poppy's smile drops and he stares ahead in blank confusion. Gramps has pulled out a silhouetted round object with pointy ears. A text box in the bottom right corner reads: Coming soon!

"always showing up at my shop just to cause trouble and be a nuisance..." slingshot's expression turns from annoyance to sadness. "...the only reason he'd do all that must be 'cause he really hates me, right? why would someone like that want to be my friend?" skateboard and boombox turn pale and gasp in shock. the background is filled with various doodles of coil, the two's memories of him speaking fondly of slingshot when in the privacy of their friend group, a side of him that slingshot is completely unaware of. in the final panel, skateboard and boombox are silently and ominously looming over a nervous coil as he writes an apology letter.
