Of all the things that happened this weekend, one that sticks me was a conversation where I was complimented on my singing. It was a first for me. I like to sing and enjoy doing so, but never felt I was particularly good at it. I wonder how many of us carry skills around that surprise us sometimes.
3 glasses of Hungarian Pálinka, or Moonshine, made with my Father-in-law. We were toasting my Mother-in-law's memory on her birthday.
On her natal day, one in memory of my MIL of the shine I made with her husband on our last trip when he was still with us. RIP to them both. I learned much from them.
