Deeply satisfying and also very frustrating because I would give anything to be this cunty with such literary flair

Yeah, look, Harry certainly has his own multiple truckloads of issues, but calling A a tosser and perhaps taking a swing at him raises Harry in my estimation for sure

State & local officials continue to be fine w/ roughing up & arrest of protesters outside Broadview & Eileen O’Neill Burke’s office is prosecuting dozens of nonviolent people arrested there. Also she so far won’t do anything real about rampaging ICE agents? 🀑 πŸ‘ŽπŸ» blockclubchicago.org/2026/02/26/w...

Agreed. If anyone at all deserved that kind of evisceration, it was those creeps, especially Andrew. There is fierce competition for the title β€œmost reprehensible person alive,” but he’s really put in the work.

Nobody has ever been so lyrically yet thoroughly excoriated as in this piece. And yet, few people have ever deserved such a complete dismantling as the Prince formerly known as Andrew

This show is the rare case where I have suggested to people to tough out the first two episodes. I usually say life is too short to suffer for pop art. But by the end of season 1 I was having an absolute ball. Genuinely excited for season 2.

I'm loving that so many non-Aussies have embraced this show. It is not the sanitised, tourism-postcard stuff that Australia usually makes for international consumption and I do wonder if that's part of the appeal. I mean, it uses our very colourful language that most non-Aussies get very upset about

I think you might enjoy the TV show The Lowdown, which Tim is in (not the star, but of course terrific in a supporting role). It is set in the present (ish), but feels very old timey, in a good way, if that makes sense. Hulu (& possibly Disney??)

This woman, US citizen living in Skokie, was detained at Ohare yesterday, taken to Broadview, then transferred to a detention facility in Wisconsin, now released. We know all this not because of DHS, who repeatedly denied that they even had her, but because her phone was pinging in those locations.

The absolute funniest thing anyone could do is have Detective Hole very grimly guest star in a third season of Deadloch, every other character mercilessly roasts him, I personally need this and would never stop laughing

22 Undersung TV Gems to Binge Right This Second Now that Peak TV has peaked, consider watching one of these unjustly uncelebrated series, handpicked by Maureen Ryan.

By the way, as you contemplate watching or rewatching Deadloch, fyi I wrote a bit about it in this list of TV hidden gems, and you should watch all of them! Especially Line of Duty!! not as many jokes, but at least one very repressed Irish catholic! www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/st...
