I kind of like that the edits are a little more unpredictable. It's fun trying to read them, but we sometimes do ourselves a disservice. I'd rather they occasionally surprise me so I'm kept guessing.

Even the default view you've provided in the first post has a different viewpoint to it. Most of the world sorts by Gold, then Silver, then Bronze. As I understand it, the U. S. is in the vast minority by sorting it by Total medals instead. Presumably because they usually place higher that way.
