i've also met a lot of new people this year. i don't know if i'm getting any better at socializing or if i'm just having to do it a lot more. i hope the connections i've developed stay strong.
spent the first substantial chunk of time in another country since i've been an adult and i'm still grappling with that experience. just being out of the US and all it's bullshit political problems was such a relief, even if i was doing so in a high-stress context the whole time.
2025 has been a fucking ridiculous year, so many ups and downs it's hard to even keep track. Did a ton of stuff, made friends, lost friends, traveled all over the west coast, wrote a lot, read a lot. I haven't had a break for the past three or four months until this last week.

i've been every one of these with different projects but Chaotic Plotter the most consistently. i like to have a well-structured narrative, but i write the scenes out of order as inspiration comes to me, often interrupting whatever else i was supposed to have been doing.
