Basically I just made a path, set the timings really low, and nommed @melodyoftin.bsky.social in a testing universe because I have her collared~

After some further testing:
The prey can advance paused nodes after a trapped node.
Weirdly, the prey can hit "go back" on a node past a trap node, even if escape behavior was set to "escape completely", unsure if this is a bug or intended.

Unsure, I'd have to test that. My guess is they could, let me try.

Exactly. PSA, for prey that are stuck past a Trap node and *really* want to leave, just DM your pred first. Hitting the safe word button without checking to see if your pred will release you on their own kinda sucks for both of you, consent is sexy! (including CNC consent~)

So, this essentially makes it so the use cases are:
PONR: Prey will be digested, there is no escape, and releasing them is impossible because they've already melted too much
Trap: Prey is more or less "safe" but can't leave, belly pet time~

After some testing:
The trap node prevents the prey from escaping after reaching it.
The pred can still release the prey early past that node (although the release button doesn't show in some windows and does in others, navigate a bit to find it, this will probably be fixed)

My *guess* is that it's essentially an "endo PONR", because it doesn't make it so the end of the interaction has the respawn, but it does make it so the prey can't escape. Allowing for belly pets and the like. (I'll definitely be introducing them to some of my paths)~
