Favorite books I read this year. I only read 70 books which is pretty low for me and most of these I read at the beginning of the year since I haven't been in a reading mood. They are ordered approximately in the order I enjoyed them.
The insane "news" propaganda my dad watches non-stop is literally on a 15 minute loop. Easy to think crime is up when you hear about one carjacking 100 times a day for five days in a row.
Dealing with an elderly parent who is coming to the end of being able to care for himself would be a hell of a lot easier if I didn't have to listen to that stupid motherfucker on top volume from across the house.
