Oh hey this exists. I should be better about using it (and all my social media, really).
Everything good that happened in my writing career happened because someone, normally another writer, helped me. Suggested me for something, put in a good word, and so on. The idea was always that you help others and they help others in their turn. It's not a win or lose game.
The disappointing moment when getting the new novel right is going to take a long research trip to a city you don't live in and you are chronically ill in the US so you are too broke for even a working vacation.
#WuAssassins has some cheesy dialogue but then there are moments like "When I'm pretending to be someone else [undercover], I don't have to be myself." ๐ Glad I picked this one from my giant watchlist the other night. It's great fun and just what I needed to make progress on this writing project.
My new project can only be described as "Wu Assassins meets Forbidden Kingdom meets Till the End of the Moon". I thought it was self-indulgent C-drama addict nonsense at first but there are some really great and fun concepts in the bones of this thing that I hope to do justice.
An image of a book cover on a background of autumn leaves. The title on the cover is "Tiger in the Night" by author L. Dawn Jackson and there is a white tiger against a dark background.
Today is the book birthday of Tiger in the Night, my beloved soul sister's debut paranormal/contemporary fantasy romance novel from The Wild Rose Press! You can't go wrong with this one (and I'm not just being biased; it's a good story ๐
). Go check it out!

At some point I will actually settle on a cover photo... ๐
Welp, I'm here. Let's have some fun!
