As we were falling asleep yesterday Acheron was like "are you sure you want to front for work tomorrow you know we get upset nearly every day" and I was like nooooo. I can handle it. Well well well here we are

We miss having energy and time to do things and creativity. COVID stole some of that, and this stupid job is stealing the rest.

Yesterday we had a flash of creative inspiration, something we haven't had in months. It was so nice and today it's just gone and being consumed by the fact that we need to both recover from the workday and look for something else, because this isn't sustainable.

We can't expect to be at peak productivity all the time, and slow and steady work is two jobs in one, monitoring how fast we're going and slowing down if we feel like we're doing too much, and the actual task. That *also* burns us out.

We have ADHD. We do what needs doing, but usually in bursts of extreme productivity between periods of not doing anything. Partially because we are tired, and partially because we need to mentally plan out our roadmap of productivity for the next however long it takes to complete a task.

Somehow us meeting and exceeding the daily quota sometimes by 200+ files because we've been insanely busy is not enough to show that we are busy. We also have to look busy all the time and get grilled whenever we don't.

Hime: it is SO deeply frustrating that we work at a job where they monitor you and expect you to be doing constant work when the flow of work is not constant, and that's. Not how everyone works best.

Ineffa: we want beef bulgogi so badly...we're really considering going to the Asian grocery store so we can make it this weekend.

I'm honestly sick of it. I'm finishing up the current quest line in Genshin and I'll probably drop it, same with HSR. Wuthering waves is on thin ice.
