Well, my long running game about cute fairies granting wishes has just wrapped up...
So now it's time for a game about kink, the military cult, and giant robots fighting impossible monsters to existentialist themes...
Come play and play with me!
startplaying.games/adventure/cm...
And it went great!
Bit harrowing trying to squeeze the game into the time window, but haven't lost a limb passing through yet.
Tomorrow I am running a 90 minute one shot of #TheOutfitRPG !
I'm excited, but also nervous because 90 minutes is so short a time.
But, hey, got three runs to perfect it!
However it goes down, it goes down @thehistorichaven.bsky.social
On the one hand, I don't want anyone to see my #ttrpg until I'm done with it... until it's READY...
On the other, I need playtesters to see it and play it before it can ever be made READY...
"What if I gave myself a set of perpetual deadlines to scrape over?"
I agree with the point, but reading this from Chaucer has a strong irony...
What do you call whimsy when it is not light but heavy?
I'm trying to imagine what the IT Crowd episode about climate change that was so offensively bad it got Glinner the sort of pushback that he had to double down and go insane over it...
You sound like those positive intrusive thoughts I've been fighting lately.
Mike Ginn, September 7th 2014, on Twitter.
Perhaps a bold statement from an actor.
Yeah, I should... wait... I did make one of those... and can never think what to put in it...
I'm not 100% sure Trump will require another term to be president for life at this point.
No... we did not.
We complained loudly and constantly to anyone who would listen.
When you want to want to do things outside of the particular structure of a game's Moves it tends to push back into its own shape
I often really like running PbtA games, because it helps inexperienced players stick to narrative and focus on appropriate beats... but as a Player I find it restricting
In my experience playing #PbtA is like riding a bike with training wheels. It's good at helping you not fall over. Moves give you a direction and shape for the story to work within.
But... you can't do sick tricks with training wheels still on.
Can't say where the concept of spicy honey begins, but it gets into the states and its current popularity because Mike Kurtz had it in Brazil (where it was a novelty anyways) and spent a lot of time on his own recipe.
He's been at it since 2010. Not sure why it picked up steam in 2020.
John Carpenter's Legally Blonde
I feel like I still haven't started the year properly, because holiday flu...
Ran an MtG RPG of my own devising (much ripped from Mystic Empyrean)... making real a game that's been in my head for almost a decade now...
That's nice.

Hm... maybe moondried tomatoes was a mistake...
Tried to go sledding, but couldn't find a decent incline.
Hill issue.
Getting deadnamed by the UI is a whole other level of suck.
Sure, but if it can't *decrease* then you have a lot more control over creating new girls by removing old ones, than just waiting for whatever mechanism exists to make new ones naturally.
In a setting where everyone's girls my first question might be why no one appears to survive to adulthood...
Wait, bad example, Jimmy might be the least grounded person in that universeβ¦
I mean, even without Lois heβd still have Jimmy.
