Is there some kind of Advent Calendar leading up to the next presidential election we can get? Loaded with mind-numbing goodies for each day?
Watching Twin Peaks and reminiscing about those post High School days and in 89-90. We were invulnerable, the future unwritten. Lynch hit a sweet spot during those days that are considered golden, as most memories are. He painted the colors and moods I felt as adulthood loomed. I thank him for that.
Every time there is a major disaster that doesn't directly effect you, it is a good time to review your personal emergency plans, supplies, etc
All of this need for emergency response and action in LA has me deeply interested in emergency preparedness and planning.

I consider myself a writer, don't make a living that way The job that makes any money may die. Trying to define who I am by my job AND if I can contribute to retirement is taking up too much brain juice. Need to consider the road in front of me, not two or three turns ahead. not sure how to do that.
Recently, I discovered that I have been writing my last chapter instead of the Next chapter of my life. I guess that's what's called a Midlife Crisis?
