My life has been a little weird and wonky and so I thought I might try something new. If you are around- I am going live on twitch for the first time (history_kylie) while I work on ttrpg stuff! See you there!

Shrimp and Crits: Arcadia
Ep.5 is out now π
After finally learning the answer to the question "Who's in charge here?" the crew of The Atolla prepare their gear, get some rest, get some coffee, and make their way deep into the mines of Arcadia-19.

We just started a new campaign! Itβs weird west and I love it so much. The clip I want to share starts at 1:20:19 and ends 1:27:17
Journaling TTRPGs are becoming more and more popular, and I have quite enjoyed them myself whether I'm playing them on my own or working on them together with kiddo!
Check out here for my list of journaling TTRPGs that are great to try with kids or for grown ups to play on their own too!
Journaling games are a great way to help kids enjoy writing! Whether they're working on handwriting, typing, or storytellingβor they're just looking for a fun activityβthis list of journaling games is a great way to get started.
And the best part? Grownups can play too!
A very glitchy version of the Shrimp and Crits logo in front of a black background with some multicolored artifacts.
Arcadia Episode 3 - Welcome to the Machine
Is OUT NOW!π€π
The crew works to solve their personal issues and their issues with the dangers of the desolate moon of Arcadia-19. When they finally make it to the Carrion Corporation facility, Bobbi is there to show them the wonders of lunar mining.
No problem! Happy to help!
I would try and find a common theme among the research topics to turn into a panel rather than say this is research from a class- most conferences like a fully fleshed out panel with objectives that the attendees will learn from.
Since it was a regional conference I tried my best to convey to the students to submit papers from their most recent classes/thesis class that they were most proud of. (This is was a history conference and I could justify mostly groupings)
Holy smokes! It looks so flipping good!!
This is very random- but I put together an entire history conference for undergraduate students and I have put together conference proposals for the association of childrenβs museums conferences for the last 2 years- let me know how I can help your students!
A fire, hot apple cider, and grilled brats to usher in a beautiful fall here in Minnesota. I am truly a happy camper.
Sometimes the best meal is cheese and crackers while sitting on the back porch reveling in the change of seasons. (Just be wary of sneaky pups who love cheeses they will try to steal it from you.)
Friendly reminder: if you are excited for D20 (or any other AP) & want to ensure thereβs more coverage of it, I encourage you to click & share the articles covering it. Itβs very hard to get followup deeper dives (hint hint) picked up if the announcement doesnβt get an enthusiastic response.
Thatβs amazing! Congrats!
I wear many hats at the museum- but there are days like today I get to buy snacks because we have volunteers coming in and that brings me joy because who doesnβt love a good snack buying trip?
Gearing up for a new campaign with @hardknockdice.bsky.social in a few weeks and yβall arenβt ready. Itβs gonna be so dang cool.
Greetings! This is your (Cap)tain speaking.
I will be the GM or "The Speaker" in the next mini-series of @shrimpandcrits.com as we play Starhold!
Starhold is a space-themed survival horror TTRPG made using the Powered by the Apocalypse system. Check it out here: https://starholdrpg.com/
A white and brown owlbear plush that has a series of smaller and smaller wicker hatβs stacked in its head. The campers have named it βbe beβ
Day three of camp and the kiddos have named the owlbear plush βbe-beβ and they keep stacking smaller and smaller hats on its head.
Excited for my 3rd year of my ttrpg pilot camp that I created for the museum on Monday.
Itβs gonna be so cool and kids imaginations are truly the best.
Wish us luck!

I am not even on that side of TikTok and I know about it which is wild.
This is my dog Starbuck. He is a very good boy- in fact he is the best boy.
Working at an emerging museum is great- except when computer hardware goes on the fritz and I think to myself I need some I.T. help and remember that I am I.T- I am the one folks as for help with all of their problems. So thatβs how my morning is going if you were asking π
