Disarm on lancer removes difficulty from a lot of maps. MC's skill to steal an enemy turn can completely remove boss ability to do anything.

It's actually on easier side if try break it, hahaha. Turn manipulation and magic goes far. The one tonfa kid using his unique class non-elem spell as basic mage class is incredibly strong. Anyone as a mage hitting elemental weakness can also delete people for a good bit.

Most bounced off finding it too hard, haha. I was one of the few that just broke the game. Retroachievements has a set for the game so I did a replay to nab those.

As long as it falls under Japanese media we're good. We have even had comic versions of stuff with no show version
Gundam Crossbone being a big example. The music from it is even pulled from the Gundam G Generation games.
Some versions are also SRW originals like Mazinkaiser and Mazin Emperor G.

Reborn is a significantly better experience.
Much nicer barrier of entry and way better unit/class balance. TONS of qol changes and removed a huge amount of the grind from PSP version. I adore PSP one. But Reborn is fat better for new players.

Grand Strategy? Pokemon Conquest itself is based on Nobunaga's Ambition... so those games.
Gundam Ginren's Greed is similar too, great games. Brigandine and the sequel are solid games too.
