Got in a fight with another parent at school pickup today after I asked him to turn off his vehicle as we all waited around for 20mins for the kids to come out. He argued idiling laws don't apply if you're sitting in your car.

It's kinda funny how commuting to downtown is sometimes more convenient for me than further on my west side of the city. The direct bus route really helps. Looks like I'm going next to Wihkwentowin arena to continue my learn-to-ice-skate routine!

Every Sunday since January I go to the City Hall rink to learn how to skate, with the handy equipment for beginners and the amazing coaching of the drop-in instructor. Finally I skated w/o guides for 30 seconds straight for the first time! 🎇
