I really loved Poor Things, but I feel like this was an altogether different thing
and i'm trying to not think too hard about why I enjoy some things over others; i'm just enjoying the enjoyment

I went in with no expectations, and let it happen to me...
It did lose a fair chunk of momentum near the end, and I never once tried to make it make sense, but I loved it
I thought her performance was great.
It was a lot more fun than that trailer for The Odyssey, which made me laugh out loud
I thought it was great fun - Jessie Buckley was absolutely brilliant
Excellent work all round people, an excellent read first thing in the morning π
A comic book panel (mostly black, blue and purple - showing a character walking up Renfield St in Glasgow with Central Station block behind them - looking as it was when I was a kid. Artwork by James Corcoran
I thought about @jamescorcoran78.bsky.social when I saw that blaze last night (see image)... my eldest kid came home for dinner last night & said there was smoke pouring out of a vape shop at central station at 4pm; we never thought any more about it until he saw the video about 11pm last night
I think about that particular view a lot, especially since I read Stramash & started admiring your work online... I had kinda forgot about it until then
Two firefighters resting, sitting on the plinth of the "Citizen Firefighter" statue.
Quite an image on the BBC live page (www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cd...; no photographer credited).
Sounds as if they've saved the station and the hotel, and more importantly, without loss of life.
Citizens; heroes.

This is a really important piece. Glasgow is haemorrhaging its art spaces, turning a once vibrant city a cultural void, and weβre all the poorer for it. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

Last year I made the 'Transmission #4' cassette, which side 1 mostly contains this track & its 'version'...
I'm proud of the track & the video I made for it, the closest i've got to realising the dub-vibes i hear in my head.
