Dr. Hollon has started a food insecurity project in the Cardiology Fellows Clinic. This provides resources for families needing extra food support and has been well received by many families who otherwise would not have received resources.
She is now in her third year of pediatric cardiology fellowship and interested in pursuing preventive and general cardiology. She really enjoys all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer (alongside her adopted dog, Dahlia) and has been honing her wildflower identification skills.

Meet Hannah Hollon, MD 🤝
Hannah Hollon, MD is originally from Charleston, SC where she completed medical school. She did her pediatrics residency training in Richmond, VA where she stayed for an extra year of obesity medicine fellowship before moving to Colorado.

Dr. Arjun Patel is second-year Neonatology fellow from the Chicago suburbs. He says the best part of his job is working with so many talented and dedicated colleagues. When he is not working, Arjun enjoys relaxing with a nice cup of tea or spending time in the great outdoors.

"Dr. Dexter had a bit of a trial by fire of a transition to being the senior fellow on the Gynecologic Oncology service last month because due to a transition in fellowship start dates, Dr. Dexter rose into that role as the program was down two fellows.
Some of her favorite things to do in Denver include going to Havana Sauna and buying Korean snacks at M Mart, finding treasures at various thrift stores, drinking wine and listening to records, and going to the city's art museums.

Julia Dexter hails from Albuquerque, NM and has spent time on both coasts in her road to the gyn-onc fellowship. The best part of her job is feeling like she’s earned the trust of patients and seeing residents and medical students progress in their clinical skills and judgement.

Madhu is a second year trauma critical care fellow in the the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) fellowship. Her academic interests focus on education including curriculum development, simulation, quality improvement & video review.

Maggi Horn is a third-year pathology resident. She is originally from San Francisco, California and was a Caribbean medical student prior to coming to University of Colorado for residency.

Tannam Vongvivitpatana, MD has been recognized for providing “Superb patient care and excellent engagement with the system and the team.” He was selected out of a pool of nearly 1500 healthcare providers at the Rocky Mountain VA Medical Center!
We want to make life easier for our residents and fellows so that they can be at their best and focus on their training🥼 🏥 That's why we've developed a catalogue of wellbeing resources with everything from fitness programs💪 & FREE financial consultations 💵 to sleep rooms & nursing mother spaces. 🍼
To help achieve that goal, we encourage our residents, fellows and staff to look to the CU Anschutz Office of Access and Engagement for trainings, engagement opportunities, and community building.
At CU GME, we value inclusiveness and belonging as fundamental principles that guide our actions and decisions and are committed to creating an environment where every member of our community feels respected and supported.
