You could argue that many systems these days are "generic". Year Zero Engine, 2d20, PbtA, BitD, 5e ports and variants galore, making 5e somewhat generic... :-)

Love this movie!

Mythras by The Design Mechanism, tons of genres now, pulp planetary romance, supers, vampires, and historical settings like Mythic Constantinople. Variant of BRP with plenty of tactical options to keep combat fast and interesting.

My friend's #FLGS has so many troubles with Alliance. How do you tool out the whole middle layer in this industry and still support the stores? Ugh.

I'm getting back into the #BRP family of games, and I have to say #Mythras is one of the most compelling versions. There is so much extraordinary detail! People should check out all the fantastic work from the #DesignMechanism team!

I love Earthdawn, Shadowrun, Ebberon, 3.5-era Scarred Lands, and Monte Cook's The Diamond Throne settings.

Rippers, Rifts, and various Deadlands are fun.

For modern, I love Delta Green, and Hellboy.

For Sci-Fi, Eclipse Phase, Star Wars, and TSR Alternity Star Drive.

I'm so used to "The Algorithm" on other social media sites inundating me with trash, advertisements, and nonsense that reading actual things important to the people I follow is a bit jarring but also delightful.
