Hi Mike, I got a camera with a flip-up view screen for this reason. Found that people are reacting to someone lifting up the camera (or phone) to their face level.

By looking down at the view screen, holding the camera around stomach level, people don't seem to notice as much... Or be super fast!

We saw a black wolf shape quickly disappear as we approached in the truck. This was so far north that we had not seen another vehicle on the highway for hours. We got out and took photos, but definitely felt like we were being watched.
