TODAY'S THE DAY! It's one of the coolest dates of our lifetime.

Whether you go by month/day/year or day/month/year, if we write the date as one number, we will get a square number! Both sides can agree that today's date is a square date.

9,272,025=3045²
27,092,025=5205²

Have a graph idea that's outside of the box? Add variables to the definitions of your graph bounds to track a point along a curve, adjust the window using actions, keep a label in the same relative position on your screen, and more. The possibilities are boundless.

Last season I finished 29th in the world in FPL and this season I was outside of the top 3 million. I was no worse a player this year than last, it's just a very high variance game! Just a reminder that there are many outcomes out of our control, just focus on what you can control.

I went to the Tate Modern to have my height measured on the wall of the turbine hall as part of their 25th birthday celebrations, and was expecting to see a normal distribution represented in an interesting way. BUT I was wrong. It wasn't a normal distribution. Can you see why?

Say the Prime We're attempting to get a collection of humans to say every digit of the newly-discovered (and currently largest-known prime number) Mersenne prime M136279841, and hope to achieve this before another…

Do you have a spare 3-4 minutes to be part of a daft online thing? We're collecting YouTube videos of people saying chunks of digits of the recently discovered Mersenne prime - and we'll keep going until we've got them all (or they find another one). Find out more at saytheprime.com

Can you figure out the fewest number of marks needed on this ruler?

(I think this would be a great math task!)

Thanks for sharing this daily puzzle, I hadn't seen it before! I took a little longer than you for today's puzzle, but I did use a famous Countdown trick to solve it

Notice that 28² + 8³ = 6⁴

Any other sets x, y, z of natural numbers that satisfy x²+y³=z⁴?

"What is the smallest number of desired copies that requires five requests?" Essentially a question I give my Y7s, much to their chagrin when I share the solution!
