I had a similar experience when I was given some of my childhood photos back. It's bewildering how much memory has gone and I wonder how bad my childhood abuse must have been for my brain to protect me so much! I hope you find a way to process it x

I've decided to carry on with my degree after taking a year out. No doubt at some points it will be stressful, as working FT too, but looking forward to it. Yesterday I went for a long walk taking photos of typography in my town, which made me happy 😊 Only one glare of suspicion received 😅

I hope you did too. I was effectively kicked out of my family for 10 years and that's when Christmas changed for me. I no longer celebrate it, but call it my quiet time as I don't see anyone. I look forward to having 2 days of peace where no one needs anything from me except my pets 🙂
