Most people I know would not attend a webinar if it was on Teams unless it was absolutely required.

I'm here for all things STEAM. BS BD Jul 6, 2023 at 10:22 AM One time physics/math double major turned web designer and marketer living in the heart of the Sierras. I also love bird-watching, photography, and a gazillion other things.

If it was just me, I'd chalk it up to some conflict with my settings, security options, or something like that. But I do not personally know a single person that likes it, or has never had it glitch. (Not denying that there are people who have never had an issue).
It's horrendous on a Windows computer too. Literally 70 -80% of the time it refuses to let me join. Thankfully the one group I was in that used Teams has run its course.
I may have the most talkative cat. He is always meowing. Always.
That's certainly much cheaper and easier than buying new equipment.
This is just horrifying. It'll negatively impact everyone for generations.
Oh wow, I never considered the composition of the ground, or at what percentage grounding rods become less effective.
I'm surprised this was never on any physics/electronics test I took. ๐
Boo DST.

I've been reading a lot about the Nuremberg trials lately. Just the logistics of them was interesting, but it also give me something to hope for.
Yep, sames!
I agree, urban and rural areas have so much to learn from each other. I just wish we'd all listen.
I've always wanted to try this. All meeting to be held on Elizabeth Standard Time. ๐
Yes! I can't look at this without hearing them too.
๐ Same energy!

Mr. Northern Shoveler was having a grand time.

Following specific feeds helps. But it's also so much harder to find good feeds now that there are a gaziliontybiliion of them.
Popular With Friends helps surface good stuff, assuming the people you follow share common interests.
I too prefer the chronological order and lack of algorithm.
My desk is at a window near the feeders. They quickly learn to fly to the window and let me know when they're out of food. They're so smart, and I'm so easily trained.
I keep mentioning this every time someone complains about gas prices (and taxes) here in California. I wish we had the mass transportation network they have.
Yay! They are so pretty. And bossy. ๐ I love your camouflage.
I can imagine! I'm so glad we live in the times with modern washing machines.
Thank you!
Oh wow! This is so fascinating. I also remember hot and stuffy rooms during finals in college. Thousands of years ago.
I don't know. It's just me! I did a load of clothes at my parents when my power was still out and before they announced the damage. That helped me out with necessary washing.
On a side note I'd really like to get a new washer/dryer. Mine are old and very energy efficient.
Yeah - and I'd have to go somewhere out of the county. I did one load last weekend, just the essentials. But now I have a big pile of sheets and towels along with the regular clothes.
I know! I have so much laundry to catch up on.
I'm so glad the water is back - and a week earlier than initially thought. Seems like these engineers follow Scotty's rule of due dates. ๐

I never got into ICQ, but my old school nerd cred is beating the Balrog in Moria in the basement computer lab at UCSC. I may have screamed a little. The one other person there came running over and I thought he was going to kiss my feet he was so amazed. He didn't think it could be done. ๐คฃ
Should I send him a bill for consultation fee? ๐คฃ
