The Super Bowl Show starts today!!

Our Kickoff is at Noon Eastern (1:30pm NST)
This winter bowl show features a small but distinctive collection of fantastic and functional bowls by exceptional Canadian ceramic artists.
An annual studio tradition – my customers are stars!
This year’s Star Event takes place Friday and Saturday November 28th and 29th, 2025. Noon to 6pm each day.
Here’s a dinner plate from last week’s kiln load. There’s some beach sand from Northern Bay Sands in the porcelain clay. Got some variations of turquoise going with the crystalline glaze. #canadianceramics

An oil painting by Gerry Squires, that's used as an illustration in The Ferryland Visitor. It shows red Ferryland lighthouse and white lighthouse keeper's house, under a dramatic cloudy sky.
If you’re taking a drive out to Ferryland, stop by our Tors Cove shop (just a minute off the highway) and pick up a copy of THE FERRYLAND VISITOR; it's a true ghost story set in the lighthouse, featuring art by renowned NL artist Gerry Squires, who met the ghost himself!

The honey bees often come to visit my flower boxes and are generally pretty tame. This was the friendliest visit yet. I was outside taking advantage of the clear blue skies to photograph some pottery when this girl landed on my sleeve.
