Essay now at 4000 words. It might go longer as there’s a very rich seam of research still to include. There are identifiable areas for cutting so it’s a case of add more then cut it down to try and keep the length reasonable and retain the research points.

Done my physio exercises and yoga stretches. Back has settled down so the physio might be working but too early to tell.
I'm currently reading this and it's immense.
There's so much detail. This isn't just a nostalgia fest, or potted list of kids TV shows, it's a proper in depth history of the entire children's tv department.
Glad it’s getting a reprint. A fantastic book. Reviewed it back in 2015.

The NHS has now stopped all medication - puberty blockers and hormones - for trans minors. For most, unless they get drugs from other sources, this means a lifetime, in an increasingly violent and transphobic society, unable to pass. Under Wes Streeting NHS policy is harm and death for trans people.
Like many others, my wee sister lost her business in yesterday's fire on Union Street. If anyone is willing to donate, no matter how small, it would be greatly appreciated. She's devastated and just celebrated the 4th anniversary of her salon on Saturday as well.
