Here's a weird hack-- I figured out a way to write tiny #PICO8 animations and games on my phone (if bored waiting in line, on the train, etc), by creating a spreadsheet-as-light-IDE that translates the code into a PICO8 Edu Edition URL as I type. Convoluted yet functional!

An hour or so with #pico8 on a wintery day (the equivalent of idly doodling in a notebook while looking out the window).

As an intro, reposting my deepest labor-of-love #PICO8 project, from 2023: PICOhaven 2, a small, free, card-based tactical RPG, inspired by the board game Gloomhaven.

Here I go again, late to the (newest?) party. Most of my occasional posts about retro-videogame-making / #pico8 / DIY electronics projects have been on Mastodon the past few years, but I've seen some people posting more here so I'm checking it out...
