Kalen is not a human - he is a fairly humanoid insectoid with his antennaes and "mandibles" on cheeks badly removed surgically (you can only wonder if that was done with or without his consent : D). His body was also altered with different cybernetic auguments which are his main problem now. [3/4]

What will happen if you throw depressed detective with terrible past who knows too much, into cyberpunk setting? Kalen happens. This guy can store so much trauma inside : D
In short, he wasn't supposed to live for so long, he is on the government radar and pretty much a dead man walking. [2/4]
