Building of new Hampshire hospital will not begin until at least 2037 under new plans The construction of a new Hampshire hospital will not begin until at least 2037, it has been announced.

Winchester MP Danny Chambers said: "I’ve fought tirelessly to save and improve Winchester’s A&E and the consultant-led maternity.

"Now, we absolutely need to ensure that the current services are invested in."
