you mean windows?
you mean windows?
A bestiary entry featuring a creature called a Hoverat. The description is as follows: "They travel overheard in small packs. It is not rare to be hit by the garbage that they unwittingly drop."
new creanture discovered
It is kind of annoying how all the windows aren't just repositionable tabs. I keep wanting to move the shader editor and the output tab into specific layouts but they're stuck to the bottom panel, when it really feels like they should be repositionable ( as should all the other tab/windows )
Yup, we're working on a new Castlevania game.
Thanks to KONAMI, & with Motion Twin's friendly advice, the franchise will be going back to its roots with what we hope to be the best whip traversal & combat ever seen in a 2D action-adventure game! Noooo pressure...

Added double, triple, and long jumps! :3
Also some basic enemies.

Fuck ICE
i was aware of the collection exporter feature, but i didn't know you could make custom exporters. Do you access this through python scripting?
wow, i stop using bluesky for a little bit and come back to rudimentary cpus in allumeria. insane haha
whoa hey, i saw you post this on the mini jam server, didn't realize i already followed you on here though lol. This looks sick! excited to try it out!
over time, i've amassed a collection of free **legal** web/html based textbooks that i've found online for various random subjects, so i've decided to start storing a list of them on my website.
check them out here if that sounds interesting:

A whole 256 32x32 monochrome pixel icons.
"I will just make a few custom 32x32 icons for my Godot project"
oops, made a whole sheet. this is honestly one of my favourite things to do.
nujabes cd arrived today :)
i got most of these, but i didn't get #34, and i didn't count the little frilly hearts on the chest window because i thought those weren't fully heart shaped due to missing the pointy bottom
ok so is it though?
/j
that's what everyone else seems to do, and it seems to work out for them, so you could try it as well. Though it does seem like it'd get very tiring to do, very fast
A stereotypical elf, long ears and all, standing in a bordered frame mirroring that of the PC98 system. The dialogue options are rude.
That one PC98 game with the elf in it. You know... the one with the rude protagonist.
This random test I'm doing is getting out of hand. Game engine video footage in the works...

this obviously refers to an 80+ hour silksong longplay video
take your time dude, your own health is the most important thing to consider, everything else comes second. I'm excited to see what you come out with when you're feelin better!!
real
that CD player is super sick btw! i love the look haha
hell yeah nujabes the GOAT
whoa hey, how about we censor nsfw posts next time, huh?
haha saame, every time i try something 3D in godot i end up turning on the half-resolution option in the viewport settings. it just looks so much more charming that way!
if you wanna make video games as a career you have to enjoy the process of making video games. its not enough to just enjoy the end result. same goes for most types of creative works
there's way too many games where the achievements are just inane garbage like "first jump taken!" or "bought something at a shop for the first time" which is absolutely pathetic and just leads to a lot of needless noise
yeah, achievements should you have to ACHIEVE, not shitty tokens that get handed out willy-nilly for just playing the game normally. they should be a token of appreciation from the devs for engaging with their games on a deeper level than necessary to just beat the game!
i personally hate it when i have to play a game tbh. i think all games should just give me a button that directly takes me to the final boss, beats it for me, and then rolls the credits so i don't have to actually play the game. that would be a great quality of life feature imo
Oh! The Ai art is just a placeholder? Why dont I placehold your game in my wishlists forever
couldn't you do both? i like the big thread because there's a running feed of progress that i can easily see. but you can just quote repost the highlights from that post on a weekly basis for people who like the weekly format.
if that's not too tedious that is ๐
YEAH!
