It would be remiss to not mention: www.visiticeland.com/outhorse-you...
Your cats clearly feel comfortable enough in your presence to play, and lightheartedly squabble with one another. They are honored to be in your care; and magnificent in their own right.
Is it shameful to admit that I would listen to music featuring the cat?
Fleeing from the cabbage patch police, I see. 🥬
Works as advertised, 5 stars.
Guarding the toy with sincerity and grace.
A pawyer, if you will.
Triscuit, a brown and gray tabby kitten with white feet, TOTALLY INNOCENT OF ALL CRIMES, trying to look causal about batting a wet stainless steel sponge across the floor
It's almost 6am and Triscuit most emphatically did NOT dip the stainless steel sponge in a pan of dirty water in the sink and then throw it on the floor to play with, this is SLANDER
You can become a lich. I am not saying you should - I would sincerely advise not! - But you can.
I think you look like a handsome little fellow.
She has the mustache of an oil baron. Cheers to you and your magnificent cat.
In the words of a great Twitter prophet:
"Accidentally cut a guy off switching lanes and when he went around me he gave me a thumbs down instead of the finger.. Idk why but it hurt more."
I certainly do not regret devoting my life to the culinary arts. The sands of time whisper many regrets in my ear, but the most fervent are the moments I did not spend with the people in my life for whom I care, whom brought me joy.
...important to spend their time pursuing what truly fulfills them.
From this, emerges two perhaps contradictory but equally valuable ideas:
1. People who do not wish to preoccupy themselves with computing, should not.
2. Computers should not require deep, esoteric knowledge to be used painlessly.
I do not believe it is worth making generalized, and often vitriolic, statements about the affinity for computers that certain demographics have.
Every second devoted to a computer is a second robbed from the real world. For immortals such as I, it is no issue. But to humans, it is ever more...
I agree on most counts; however, I insist that power users are birthed by nurture, not nature.
The sense that a computer must serve the user's needs, and the vie to pursue that ideal, is acquired, not innate. The frustration of a computer not serving the user's needs, however, is universal.
I recommend restic for Linux, and there are a few commercial offerings for Windows.
Also, make sure to test restoring from backups. Think of it like a fire drill - annoying, but necessary. If you can't get the data you need from a backup, it is as good as no backup at all.

Most people don't deal with partitions regularly, so partitioning for dual boot can be confusing. It is error-prone even for experienced users. My heart has skipped many a beat poring over partition editors back in the day.
If you do not already take backups, start now! (1/)
Try it now! Install, say, Ubuntu or Fedora, on a spare drive and feel it out. See what works for you and what doesn't. Quality feedback is at a premium in the Linux space.
Don't feel afraid to ask for help; both Linux and Windows, I observe, have a certain learning curve.
I think the difference is that people generally do not customize their work computers much, and are less likely to encounter power-user snags that Windows has become unfortunately known for.
I observe most people find Windows 11 more frustrating than its predecessor, but not so much as to riot.
Open source does not have the same deep pockets as Microsoft, make for investments from vested-interest corporations like Valve. Even so, Linux distributors are incredibly talented at stretching your consumer dollars.
I understand if you do not feel the same, but that alone is reason for me. (2/2)
I've used Linux on and off since 2004. I promise it has gotten better! There are many smart people working on making desktop Linux a viable option for average people.
In many ways, the competition between Windows and Linux has become a "better the devil you know" situation. (1/)
The fireworks scared them so badly they became a ghost. Truly a tragedy.
I'm just glad you slept well.
Their face speaks volumes. Your cats are clearly blessed to be in your care; and they are blessings in their own right, as well.
Between all the news stories being recommended to you, the cat is the headline most late-breaking.
He will guide you through the depths, but do not stray from his path, no matter what you see or hear.
Such a perfect soul. The two of you are blessed to have found each other.
