The laws of war exist to protect civilians. But even when the rules are followed, civilians are harmed. That's why we're calling on the UK government to strengthen its approach to civilian harm mitigation and response.
I sat in on the Defence Committee last week as former ministers were questioned about the MoD's Afghan data breach.
