The #CSURams survive and advance to the quarterfinals of the Mountain West tournament. Monster second half from Jase Butler (17 of of team-high 20 points in final 20 min) leads the way.
Next up: No. 2 seed San Diego State tomorrow night
#CSURams lead 61-58 with 3:56 to play. Buckle up. Fresno State's Jake Heidbreder (26 points, 8-14 FG,s 4-9 3s, 6-6 FTs) has had the hot hand all night. It's all about containing him in the final few minutes for the Rams.
Jase Butler (15 points, 6 rebounds) has a season-high 5 3-pointers and his latest gives the #CSURams their largest lead of the night at 57-51 with under 8 minutes to play. Much better second half from the Rams. Just gotta close this one out.
#CSURams with a quick 7-0 run in less than a minute to take their first lead since it was 17-16 in the first half. Fresno State calls timeout with CSU up 46-45 and just over 12 minutes to play. Rams shooting 54% on FGs this half and Carey Booth is up to a team-high 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Halftime in Vegas: Fresno State 32, Colorado State 27
#CSURams in another battle with the Bulldogs. This Fresno team just plays hard and has 22 points in the paint already. Rams need a solution for big man Garson Kocevar (14 points on 7-7 FGs off the bench). Carey Booth leads CSU with 9 points.
Really rough start offensively for the #CSURams. Fresno State leads 12-7 a little over 8 minutes in. Rams haven't scored 9n 3 minutes and are just 2-11 on FGs to start. Bulldogs' Jake Heidbreder with 8 points (3-3 FGs, 2-2 3s) to lead all scorers.
No. 7 seed #CSURams about to tip off against No. 10 seed Fresno State in the Mountain West tournament. Ali Farokhmanesh's team had won 8 straight before losing to Boise State last Saturday. Sounds like Rams will get a boost with Josh Pascarelli returning and coming off the bench.

For just the 2nd time in the Tad Boyle era, the #CUBuffs go 1-and-done at the conference tournament. Just got punked all night long. Pokes score 40 points in the paint and shoot 35 FTs. Bangot Dak leads the Buffs with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Final in Vegas: Colorado State 56, Air Force 42
#CSURams women's basketball wins the Mountain West tournament and is going to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016. This was the breakthrough run Ryun Williams' program needed. Hats off to Air Force for an awesome few days.
#CUBuffs really struggling offensively in this second half. They're just 4-12 on FGs (0-4 on 3s) and face their largest deficit of the night at 59-50 with 11:19 to play. Freshman phenom Isaiah Johnson has 5 pts on 2-11 FGs. Oklahoma State doing a great job on him defensively.

#CUBuffs led by as many as 9, but trail heading into the halftime locker room after allowing 20 points in the paint and 13 FT attempts (10 makes) in the opening 20 minutes. CU's Barrington Hargress leads all scorers with 12 points. Bangot Dak with 11

An all-Colorado final in the Mountain West women's basketball tournament. No. 3 seed #CSURams beat UNLV 66-69 to advance to face No. 9 seed Air Force tomorrow night in Las Vegas. Winner will join the #CUBuffs in representing the state in NCAA Tournament. Rams haven't made the tournament since 2016.
Unbelievable game in OKC. SGA probably just clinched MVP No. 2.

#CUBuffs freshman guard Isaiah Johnson named Big 12 co-player and co-newcomer of the week, sharing both awards with Baylor's Tounde Yessoufu. Johnson averaged 25 points in two games last week, also breaking Alec Burks' freshman scoring record at CU against Arizona.
David Roddy made a familiar trip up I-25 on Saturday afternoon.

#CUBuffs will officially be the No. 11 seed in the Big 12 tournament. They’ll face No. 14 seed Oklahoma State on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN+. It’s the last game of day one. Winner faces No. 6 seed TCU the next day.
Final: No. 2 Arizona 89, Colorado 79
#CUBuffs put up a fight, leading for over 20 minutes, but man this Wildcats team is so, so good. Not much could get in the way of them reaching the Final 4. Buffs wrap the regular season at 17-14 overall and 7-11 in Big 12 play. On to K.C.
Arizona on a 12-2 run to take its largest lead of the night, 73-64, with 6:57 to go. #CUBuffs put up a good fight in this one, but barring a 3-point barrage to spring a comeback, large contingency of Wildcats going to leave Boulder happy tonight.
#CUBuffs just no match for Arizona’s size and now Brayden Burries hits a 3-pointer to give the Wildcats a 66-62 lead with 9:09 to go. Peat and Burries have 43 points combined. Buffs going to have to string some stops together and run in transition or Zona will pull away down the stretch.
#CUBuffs in some real foul trouble here. Bangot Dak has 4 fouls, Tacko Ifaola just picked up his 3rd and Alon Michaeli also has 3. Down Sebastian Rancik, Buffs are already playing some small lineups and that'll be the norm the rest of the way. Arizona leads 57-56 with 11:45 left.
Right after he had scored 6 straight points to give the #CUBuffs a 54-52 lead, Bangot Dak picks up his 4th foul pretty far away from the basket. Arizona responds with an and-1 through Brayden Burries to retake the lead. Wildcats in the bonus already.
