So North Korea is next?
But as @aptshadow.bsky.social has shown, the make great computers! π
PS: I love the extra show. I'm sure it's a lot of extra work on your part but I, at least, really appreciate it.
I made a comment on a @guygavrielkay.bsky.social (might make a good interview on alt history?) post on this same topic that if you could covert the energy consumed in a typical AI datacenter into food calories (Star Trek!) then you could feed over a million people a day.

I hate to be pedantic but a typical current high end datacenter uses ~2.4 GWh/day. Converted to kcal (food calories) that's about 2.065 billion kcal/day. Assuming we need about 2000 kcal/day to live the food equivalent per day of one single AI datacenter could "feed" ~1.03 million people per day.
Reminds me of how these are so very different:
- $#!% out of luck
- lucky $#!%
Holy... cow. This is atrocious. I worked there in the late 90s and have such fond memories walking backstage and driving the singers to and from rehearsals. His actions and intentions feel like sacrilege on so many levels, for myself and the country.
Related to my prior post is the #EFF guides. Look for your phone OS privacy setting guides in particular.

Approaching Malostrana from Karluv Most.
A view of the Castle (HradΔany) and part of Karluv Most from Old Town (Stare Mesto).
HradΔany from the distance at dusk.
Old Town Square in Prague, as seen at night from above from the town hall tower. Winter markets and a huge Christmas tree glow below with Tyn Cathedral in the background.
#Prague is just such an insanely photogenic city. I miss it.
Prague, three people approach Karlov Most from Stare Mesto. One looks confused while his companions make faces in the background.
Entering Malo Strana from Karlov Most just before the towers.

In Prague, up on Zlata UliΔka within HradΔany, a young girl tries to catch snowflakes on her tongue.
Happy New Year from #Prague!
A few years ago, Bill Nye the science guy debated creationist Ken Ham about evolution. The last question was "what would change your mind?"
Bill Nye said "Evidence."
Ken Ham said "Nothing can possibly change my mind about this."
I think about that a lot.
Claude, the albino alligator at that CalAcademy in a photo from 2009. He died today at 30 years old.
RIP Claude, our albino alligator who passed away today. Seeing him was always a part of visiting the #CalAcademy.
When my wife first told me about caganers and Caga Tio I thought she was having me on.
Haven't seen this movie in an age...
They should install a SCIF for that "sensitive" material and carry on.
If you see this, post a vampire that isn't Dracula.
Has this administration asked local (already overly equipped with military gear) police to "do their jobs" enforcing the law the NatGuard is being sent in for? Has this administration demonstrated a legal rationale for sending in NatGuard like insurrection? If no, I don't understand why the debate.
We no longer live in a country with three branches of government (Legislative, Executive, Judicial). We live in a country with two parties (Democrats, Republicans, and FU if you're neither)
This is bad on so many levels.
Yet offshore wind farms are just ugly...?!?
Strump want to "pacify" San Francisco next, justifying sending in the troops with the infamous Insurrection Act. Yet there is no rebellion against government here. #SF
Insurrection; an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government.

We had real rain for the first time in ages here in San Francisco, and now as the sun goes down a double rainbow. π #SF
Kinda explains some of the lyrics... "Pat feels he's a really happy man"
Rather miss watching this with my kiddo, though.
For some reason "hot dogs" came to mind.
