Totally! I used some similar stuff to make some dungeonbowl tiles a while back by the looks of it
My most popular art on Twitter was this post of a Termigant & a WIP shot of a Hive Tyrant that got a whopping 11 likes... I don't miss the algorithm+ lack of engagement there!
If I remember later I'll get a picture of the whole unit of termies (I still have not finished the tyrant 😅) #nerdlings
I still remember that wrote some lore to go with them (which maybe helped?) - the Kuhdorf Immortals, thought to be unkillable but in actuality their recruiting town was so inbred that any casualties were replaced by near-identical fresh soldiers.
I was so pleased with the freehand at the time!
A bit of a blast from the past - in February 2011(!!!) Is an orc necromancer flanked by zombies dark enough?
Absolutely, the current Gothmog sculpt in the Osgiliath box is incredible for example - if they still had the rights to all the avtors' likenesses I'm sure they could knock it out of the park!
They weren't great fun to build - they're not like GW minis, they're a lot more firm / solid and they need super glue rather than plastic cement so it felt to me more like repairing something than making models (although I heard the droids are different?). They were absolutely fine to paint though!
Some quick procrastination basecoats whilst I should be organising my studio...
