I absolutely love Aetherize! As opposed to traditional board wipes in commander, it can allow for the other players to really go in and punish another player for their greedy attacks, whereas larger board wipes just lead to multiple turns of rebuilding

I mean Tomik is Orzhov so maybe his partner is rubbing off on him a little.

If you use this with Isshin + Cunning Rhetoric for card advantage + Lightmine Field, Powerstone Minefield, and Circle Of Flame to nuke whatever is coming at you it would be fun
