This is an amazing epiphany!

I also think because I’m adopted and have never been anything but a guest in any of my family lineages, my hair makes me feel like I am somehow close to the ancestors. If I find beauty in myself, I remember that thousands of people loved my features before me so I could enjoy them too one day.

I do think there are cultural differences that are dangerous for people’s health- like mental health wellness in Black men. It’s still misinformation that should be addressed. Every demographic is affected by different things.
