BREAKING: The Packers' proposal to ban the tush push did not receive the required 75% support from the NFL's owners to pass, per source.
The tush push remains alive.

de La Tour's work is amazing. 'The Repentant Magdeleine' took my breath away when I first saw it.

They did an A+ job on my son. Praise God, they did a great job," Andre said. Andre told ABC News that his son's first real words were about the Super Bowl. "He asked me, 'Daddy, what's today?' I was like, 'Monday.' 'OK, wait. We didn't play yesterday did we?' 'No, you didn't miss the Super Bowl,'" Andre said, describing his son as a die-hard Eagles fan. He was also concerned for his little sister. "It had me crying," Andre said, recalling when Trey asked, "Daddy, did I save my sister?"
The 10 year old boy who almost died trying to shield his sister after the plane crash in Philly survived surgery and his first questions were 1) did he miss the Super Bowl? and 2) was his sister ok? Incredible city full of incredible people. abc7.com/post/daddy-d...
I thought that was one of the few shows to actually treat the pandemic kinda honestly
Sounds like that was hand-y!
It was an excellent post! Quite enjoyed it.
In person?? (As opposed to a virtual hearing?)
They didn't just copy-paste that section from the first set of briefs into the second?
That has never been my experience of folks who went to Michigan!
How many of these railroads still exist in some legal form (even if they no longer operate or own rolling stock)? (I know Conrail still exists, but was curious if that's broadly true?)

Looking for any particular causes of action? (Fact bound, APA, etc.)
Google maps of the US from about Missouri through Virginia, with most of the roads green and about a two hundred miles section yellow.
I do like how you can use Google Maps to track snowstorm progression.
Portioning and freezing helps too, particularly when cooking for one. Buying meat in bulk-ish at Costco and then vacuum sealing individual portions made a big difference. But completely agree on basic skills - although even there, learning by trial and error or with basic training can go a long way.
Characteristically excellent post by @bretdevereaux.bsky.social
It's like they don't even know about communicating in pings. One ping only, please.
With bonus fun Moon fact: parts of the Earth, blasted from the crust many eons ago, may have crashed on the Moon, been incorporated into lunar rocks, and then returned to Earth during Apollo!
Mostly gray blue sky with a small crescent moon in the middle of the frame and a pale pink cloud to the moon's eight o'clock.

We bought an extra box a year or two ago, so we've been off cycle for a while now. It's kind of nice!
Thank you!
That's beautiful!

A pointed stone tool made out of flint. Stained brown by iron oxide. On its left hand side it shows sharp flaking scars from knapping, on its right hand side the smooth natural edge of the flint nodule. In its centre is set a round fossil of a see urchin. The five rays of its bodyform radiating out from its centre
The echinoid fossil in this 400,000 year old handaxe from Swanscombe, Kent, had quite a journey.
Living over 65 million years ago it survived Cretaceous seas, fossilisation, Ice Age rivers, Neanderthal culture, more rivers, & quarrying to enter our scientific record.
