Yes salary is important but I think Unai will want to be able to fulfill his ambitions. With financial constraints this could stifle them but I’d like to think he sees Villa as a long term football home with champions league.

Much-needed win. Performance was lacking, particularly in possession and in the final third. A better, more cohesive Villa may have killed off the tie, but to win the first leg away from home is always a big achievement. Hopefully starts to restore confidence
