These were some of those moments we long for in academia that make the journey completely worth it and make you feel that is where you want to be — a huge thanks to that memorable day.
Later, I happily managed to gather some special people at the Livraria Martins Fontes for a night of commemoration for the launch. Having people from so many different cities – some of whom traveled many hours just for this moment – filled my heart with gratitude and honor.
First, my brilliant colleague Thiago Babo and my competent advisor and director of the IR Research Center (NUPRI-USP), Rafael Villa, discussed the book before a very distinguished audience at the University of São Paulo.
