My magnolia buds are starting to crack open, and I’m shocked to see mauves and pinks and even some yellows! I was sure they’d be all white. Also, can you believe this hardy mum is blooming still?? What the heck?!

I went away for a week in early April and spent $40 on a small greenhouse on Amazon. My pet sitter just had to unzip the flaps in the am, close them at night, and all my peppers and tomatoes were super happy!
A better way to approach #NoMowMay is to replace as much of your lawn as you can with native flowers, shrubs, and trees...then it can be #NoMowEver.
Well-controlled non-natives can be included too!
