What I love (read: hate) the most about the Trump administration erasing bi people from LGBTQ history is that no one gives a shit except for the bi movement, because no matter what, we can always count on everyone and everything to be biphobic.

Watching Kevin Smith on YouTube defending Chasing Amy, saying it was "all progressive" in the late 90s, and pretending like only young people have a problem with its depiction of bisexuality like nah, I thought it was biphobic 20 years ago, too

Okay but I really wish people stopped saying that like it was a gotcha of some sort. Heterosexuality is imposed on everyone. That is literally the point. That is why we're not allowed to exist. It is not a contradiction, that is how the system works.
