To live Christβs story is to be honest about where we have fallen short β in loving God, and in loving our neighbours. Ash Wednesday gives us space to do just that.
As we enter Lent, we are invited to begin again and be ready to live Christβs story in our daily lives.
Explore @4 this evening we will be exploring Lent. What it is and why these weeks before Easter are important in the church year
It seems somewhat sad that in 2026 working class people are still needing to speak out to be supported in vocations. God who calls and knows everyone by name cares about us all equally and so our call should be recognised equally.
Nobody should have to leave behind who they truly are to serve the #ChurchofEngland, the General #Synod heard during a debate on encouraging more working-class vocations to ministry

Never thought I'd use the phrase "it goes in one ear and out the other" when preaching... Until today. When Jesus says let anyone with ears listen... Well we can listen but let's not let it go in one ear and out the other. It got a chuckle in church so they were definitely listening π
A really encouraging afternoon. Makes me feel united with others on the journey. Great to hear wisdom from the Archbishop and also time in our Archdeaconry groups.
