silksong glitch. using Silk Soar toward a disappearing ceiling (seen here in Coral Tower) causes issues with camera speed/tracking
this was not fixed by verifying the installation - which i did do in order to fix a separate issue involving asset pop-in during a fight against a summoner.
this has been an issue since the start of the game. i would estimate this happens 2% of times i use an Elixir. note that in these clips, the "use item" sound is playing, NOT the "can't use item" sound, which is like a small metal 'tink'.
oh, and while i'm on the topic of Nioh 3: i've been experiencing a glitch where i'll input to use my Elixir, and the game just won't. i know it's not an issue with the controller or my computer, because the "use item" sound plays. video attached. last clip shows mechanic working normally. [spoiler]
oh wait that reminds me. the world should see this video. the english voice acting in this game is fucking abysmal, but this is its worst extreme. why does he sound like that
like sure guys. FromSoft's combat has the problem of the player's shoulders taking up 50% screen space, so the solution to that is to completely change the perspective at which enemy attacks are evaluated, all but preventing normal maneuvering. it feels like i'm getting pulled around by my neck dude
this post was made in response to Nioh 3. something else in this game: when the player and targeted enemy both get close to a wall, the camera orbits to the side as to not get pinched. soulslike devs once again inventing ways to avoid just clipping the camera through the wall like a normal person
somebody needs to tell game devs that having a boss shit aoes randomly throughout their arena is not a legitimate means of creating difficulty

this was the first photo i took that day. i got out of bed and got my camera immediately.
