Truth
Coincidentally I was looking through an old hard drive the other day and found a folder with OC poster bits in
Been doing a rewatch of the complete Svankmajer short films. So good
Every Christmas tree needs a bat. Here's ours. Happy Christmas! ๐ฆ
I wish my library service had this sort of thing on tap ๐
I'm probably overselling it but it's definitely worth a watch
@spookhouse.bsky.social you might enjoy this one, made me think a little bit about Project Vampire Killer and some of the pieces in Euroschlock and Behold the Undead
I'm sure. Been a big Sherrif fan since reading MOONSHINE some years back. Love how he pops up in little references now and again in yr more recent work. Now I just need to track down a replacement for my copy of SWAMP GODS that accidentally went to book sale shop when I was house moving
Spreading the gospel ๐
His favourite album is Discipline
Loved it. So glad a second season got picked up
Possibly the title of the next Black Mountain Transmitter album
Apologies for the misspelling on your name there Lindsey! Please don't haunt me
Oh and I'll highly recommended the new Indicator/Powerhouse editions of his films that have been coming out over the past few years, they're beautiful presentations
If you enjoyed that one definitely delve further into the early vampire films. I love them all. Or try The Iron Rose, no vampires but drenched in gothic cemetery vibes. Another one I love is Night of the Hunted, sort of a Cronenberg/J G Ballard feel in places, very different to his others
Have you watched any of his films in particular? If not I'd recommend Shiver of the Vampires as a starter.
Halloween is the opening of the portal into that space which doesn't close again until after the winter solstice
100% on board for that!
Almost makes me want to take up smoking again
Also, that ending with the Blind Dead emerging up out of the water on to shore ๐
Brilliant score
Yes it is!
Awesome! ๐

True to form
Daniel Emilfork, he's got quite a face
I really liked this one
Eager to read this but copies seem scarce in the UK at the moment
Lovely. Nice hatching ๐
Every conversation sounds better in a Vincent Price voice
