#boardgame of the day is Maki Master from @kidstablebg.bsky.social ! I remember this game ages ago as Wasabi and I’m so glad they reprinted it and streamlined it. It’s both beautiful and tasty ;)

This is one of those game that is a pure joy to play even if you know all the story beats and outcomes. One can argue it’s even more fun with that. :)

The game is pure nostalgia for those who have played the video game and also an amazing stealth game and story even for those who haven’t.

Matcha adds a new color of dice (guess what color it is :P) and new actions to take on the tight action selection of the base game. I love it!

Amazing and simple area control and tile placement game which can also be played with a second map with objectives and bonuses! Such a beautiful game :)

I think this is the Ninth Printing of this amazing game. It comes with the expansion, Le Grand Hameau, as well as all of the promo cards released over the years!

Lots of games come to mind but I have to give it to Unconscious Mind from Fantasia Games. Vincent Dutrait AND Andrew Bosley? That’s just beauty on beauty.

Just finished a wonderful game of Overparked by Daryl Chow and Origame. This plays really smoothly as you puzzle out how to park and maneuver the cars around your respective lots. @cardboardeast.bsky.social said it was his favorite polyomino game of all time. Might have to agree ;)

I’ve already made it home after attending the #TokyoGamesMarket25 on Saturday :) It’s always an amazing time meeting friends, both old and new, and finding new games to share and enjoy.
