Such a spacious bio section but I still don't know what to put here. I do art, play video games, and enjoy a good cup of coffee or even a bad one sometimes. kind.social/@keysaunt tiktok.com/@keysaunt https://ko-fi.com/keysaunt

Congrats and/or condolences on the move! I could get on the bike but I doubt Iβd get it moving and survive. Walking is hard bc our sidewalks are only in downtown and thats maybe half a mile at best. Luckily I only go to work and my sisters and any errand that needs doing can be done in between.
Right? Everywhere I need to go in a day is 3-5 miles hike from my house π Iβd love to ride a train or bus but we barely have a taxi taxi around here much less public transit sadly.
IMO dragon fruit is just sweet and doesnβt have a real flavor. Dragon fruit flavored stuff is great and tastes nothing like the fruit itself. To be fair Iβve never had it fresh from the tree or bush or however it grows so itβs entirely possible the ones available to me are just bad examples.
Thank you π₯Ή I am thrilled with how it turned out! Iβm a bit medium on the harlequin. This was my first time doing it and the edge pieces especially were a nightmare but overall I am pleased and already working on a second one!
A crochet scarf featuring a small vine covered but, a mill house, backed by a sky full of fluffy white clouds, flower studded islands in a deep blue lake, and trimmed with harlequin pattern and multicolored tassels to represent Howlβs iconic coat and the falling stars that brought us Calcifer.
A closeup of the mill house featuring one of the stray cats we take care of. Her name is Mama.
A closeup of the hut, also featuring Mama cat.
A closeup of the harlequin pattern and tassels.
Iβm proud to announce that the Howlβs Moving Castle scarf is complete and survived the washing machine! Iβll be shipping it off next week to its final destination π #Crochet #Tapestry #Fanart #HowlsMovingCastle
One of the most iconic villain crash outs imo
One side of a crochet piece featuring a small vine covered hut, flower islands, and a bright blue sky with clouds. The bottom is fringed in a harlequin pattern representing Howls iconic coat.
The other side of a crochet piece featuring a mill house, flowery islands, and a bright blue sky with clouds. The bottom is fringed with a harlequin pattern representing Howls iconic coat.
Ready to add the trim and then itβs on to washing and blocking. Iβll be sharing photos of the finished project soon!
Side A of an ongoing crochet WIP. It features flower speckled islands, a small mill house with a green roof, a sky full of fluffy white clouds, and a harlequin pattern at the bottom meant to evoke Howlβs iconic coat.
Side B of an ongoing crochet WIP. It fest has flower speckled islands and the beginnings of a small vine covered shack (the entrance to the flower fields) and a harlequin pattern meant to evoke Howlβs iconic coat.
Iβve been persisting despite the horrors. I havenβt had a lot of time to work on this project but itβs working up quickly when I do get to sit down with it. Side A is complete and once Side B is done Iβll attach them, add the border and fancy bits, and weave in those ends.
A crochet tapestry depicting a small house on a lake studded with flowery islands. The sky behind bee house is bright and cloudy and the bottom edge is trimmed on a harlequin pattern do blue and pink.
Coming along quickly! I am almost halfway through. Still trying to figure out if I am going to do it in one long piece or if I should do it in two pieces and join them in the middle.
My sister makes the recipe on the back of the Bakers brand chocolate package and theyβre the best brownies in the world. I highly recommend them if you feel up to it. Itβs seems like a fairly simple recipe but I have never tried it myself bc I am a pie maker not a baker.
A crochet WIP featuring a blue and pink harlequin pattern that flows into a lake of the smae blue with grassy flower studded islands topped by the beginnings of a small house.
Keeping my mind and hands busy because thereβs not much else I can do at the moment. I feel like it wonβt look like much until I get th trim on it but itβs working up quickly.
Same here and we arenβt even expecting much out of it. Helene hit us hard and folks werenβt prepared so thereβs a bit of extra anxiety about. I got a really good deal on CaraCara oranges though and there were plenty of them too. And I was able to get toilet paper so Iβm not complaining too much.
Concatulations!
A crochet work in progress that features a blue and pink harlequin pattern that fades into what will eventually be a lake with small islands covered in grass and flowers.
Iβm trying not to hate this. I am trusting the process really hard right now.
Camellias are some of my favorites π My Grandmother had one like this right outside her house and one of the neighbors up the street had a white one and own that was variegated with a darker pink and white. Gorgeous πππ
βNothing is gonna us forever but a lot of things can save us today.β
The best sandwich I even had was pumpernickel, roast beef, tomato, onion, Swiss, alfalfa sprouts, poppyseed dressing, cut in half diagonally, with a lemon Italian soda to wash it down from The Continental Cafe in historic Stone Mountain GA over a decade ago.
Even here it is not safe, even this grave has been defaced, someone has written on the stone, in some angry hand: βHope Rides Aloneβ
Three orange kittens huddle together between a blue barrel and a wooden fence. They are young with carrying shades of orange tabby fur and their eyes are bright and blue and also very confused.
A tabico female with dark tips and yellow eyes, the mother of the kittens from the previous picture.
The world is rough right now but the feral cat weβve been feeding finally felt safe enough to bring her kittens by. They are terrified but let us pick them up briefly to make sure theyβre healthy. Once theyβre a little older we will get them vetted and socialized so they can find loving homes.
As a person who uses social media almost exclusively for sharing my work and viewing other artists I totally agree. I get a lot more engagement here and on Mastodon despite having a smaller following and see a lot more content I like in those spaces.
Thereβs no shame in being the person who brings a store bought dish be it fried chicken, ice, or even paper goods imo. You still deserve to be included even if you donβt have the skills or time to make something yourself. What matters is that youβre there to celebrate with everyone.
I was so sad I missed this giveaway π I was swamped at work and was on lunch by the time I got the notification and it was already over. Iβm so thrilled it brought this much!!! I am thrilled but not surprised, itβs absolutely stunning π
They should have let Steak and Shake die.
Dragon Riders of Pern by Anne McCaffery , the original trilogy is great and would be so cool bc itβs a really interesting scifantasy series. Also the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix.
Herb rubbed pork loin with carrots, onion, and cabbage on top of mashed potatoes over here. Your soup looks delicious πππ
I watched it as soon as I got home and I might have to rewatch it again tomorrow. There are a few lines in there that legit had me sobbing and it is an absolute work of art (but the first half was a little slow imo, still an 8.9 out of 10 overall though imo)
I cannot believe some of the amazing stuff this year, like its always great but omg I tagged so many things! My email is going to be blowing up every hour for a week lol
