Got sick this week. Trying to focus is difficult when you're coughing and sneezing, let alone trying to come up with stuff to doodle up! Ah well...

Raised in a secluded order of monster hunters, Seraph Julia is here to protect the weak and banish the evil that would do them harm! And maybe do a little friendly camping on the weekends.

Got one serious business, and one with her more usual friendliness.

I desire more games with good character creation... give me some of that real, deep, customisation. I want to be able to make them shorter or taller. I want to be able to decide what direction my character's hair flicks toward. Give me full access to the hues. That's the good stuff...

Oop, got the month wrong. Oh well, just pretend I posted this in the future.

An artistic map of a village called Loeyeni, stretched across a chasm in the high crags in the Loeya Valley. Its buildings have all those little wooden struts keeping them standing. The village is near a bunch of falls which roll down from the Luna Springs higher up the mountain, which are themselves fed by a pool on the Moonstone Summit. On the summit, a short walk from the giant crystal that's set on top of the mountain, there is a much simpler shrine on an outcropping.

Sort of drew it as I went, but here's a concept for Kylah's home village, where the Lunari live. If this were a JRPG, you'd probably end up coming here early in the story to get help with something magical.

Maps are always fun to make. These days I only make fewer of them than I used to because I don't have as many things to make maps for, so I could probably find something.

And yeah, I could definitely go into more about Kylah's people if I can think of things there, too. Thanks for the suggest!

I know I don't have a lot of people looking in this direction, and I'm fully expecting this post to be lost to the ether (that's fine), but I'm curious if there's stuff I haven't gone back to recently that people might be interested in seeing more from. I make lots of stuff and sometimes lose track!

A bit rough, but here's couple of things I did on a bigger sketch page a little bit back. Still just trying to make sure it's easier to search the old pictures, too, but I do like this little exchange, even if it's just a piece of an interaction.

The third and final headshot is similar to the second, but with her chin held up a little more. In this one, her hair flows more voluminously, with visible shine. Instead of glasses, she has a domino-mask on, and her expression is less nervous than the other two.

Some headshots for a superhero OC, Redouble, both in and out of her secret identity. Nothing fancy, mostly trying to get the design/vibe right.

Sometimes I wonder if I should be tagging my OCs with hashtags to make them easier to individually search. At this point I'm already a bit behind if I tried to do that. I don't know if I can add the tags post-hoc without doing a bunch of repost replies or something, though...

I found the textbook. It wasn't written as "2d6-4". It was written as "1d6x2-4". And I definitely intended that to be multiplication, not two dice. For so simple a system, this thing is very weird.

Or, well, zero anyway. There WAS a 2d6-4 roll that did negative, though.

Oh, and for the record, the 2d6-2 wasn't a resolution roll. It was a damage roll. It was possible for Rogues to do negative damage.
